Seab Gems Ltd is a joint venture Mining Company, Supported by Stakeholders. Mr.Abu bakari R. Semvua is the Founder / Assistant Company President . I am an IT expert who walked into mining sector many years ago. This all started after I returned to my home country from Europe where I resided before for many years, I was completely stunned by the magnitude of richness my country was blessed in regard with mineral deposits. From there on I did setup Seab as the sole Exploration Mining company with limited resources in finance and Machinery. At the beginning we dealt mostly in mining of Precious Gemstones such as Ruby, Sapphires etc. We then also set interests in small scale projects based on semi-precious stones; Amethyst, Rhodolite, Red Garnet, Spinel and Zircon. On a larger scale projects we mined Ruby at Mahenge but year 2003/January we had to close those projects of mining Ruby & Sapphire, This is in due course those Areas reached the point of Exploration Exhaustion. Little unearthed gems are found on those areas compare to what it costs us in terms of blasting materials, diesel for the compressors etc.
