Sarees:- Kashmiri hand embroided sarees are plain sarees with fine traditional embroidery done on them. The embroidery work done on the sarees is similar to the work done on the most expensive "pashmina" and "toorsh" shawls. Since the kashmiri work is of very precise and fine nature , it requires highly skilled labour for the job. Because of the fine quality of the workmanship it takes around 3-6 months to complete each sari. Kashmiri hand embroidered sarees offer a very viable alternative to silk sarees.
