Rosh was born in a family of three generations of gem dealers. Life started for me, not with traditional silver spoon, but rocks in hand!

Rosh made his humble beginning in business, way back in 1973, with agate beggar strands and over the years added gemstone beads, cut gemstones and diamonds, rough agates from Indian mines, gold and silver jewelry and findings, in his repertoire of entire gem & jewelry products.
This experience of over 25 years in trade has given me a basic understanding of the needs of Global markets for ruthless efficiency in quality production and rigid delivery schedules. At the same time, I can relate to small time miners and gemstone cutters and factories and gold and silversmithing workshops here in India, at grassroots level and coax them to perform at their optimum level and give off their best.

On the way, I did not forget to pursue my scholastic achievements and merited degree in Economics and Statistics in 1975 and qualified as a gemologist from Gemmological Institute of India in 1985.

In 1996, I started feeling restless. I had "been there, done that, " so far as gem & jewelry trade was concerned and looking out for new horizons to do something creative and meet new challenges. I met Tod, a like minded North American client on my visit to USA. He was looking for a reliable ?man on the spot? in India to look after production of scarves and stoles and it did not need much coaxing for him to get me to agree to take up production of scarves and stoles as per his design creations and specifications. We hit it off well together and it wasn?t long before we branched out in ladies housewear and other apparels.

From there, onto bags and embroidery was but a natural expansion.

Do business with India, you may find an altogether vivid culture, work ethics and standards from West. There?s a big void between West and East in these aspects and I like to think of myself as your bridge over this chasm.
