My name is Bruce Anderson, owner and operator of Asia Charisma. I am a Thai-American raised in the United States which is quite a story on its own, however, this page is limited in space for such dramatic details of events in my life. But briefly and to the point, my thinking is 100% American, but my heart is Thai. I am one of very few fortunate people who have been taken away from poverty at a very young age. However, old enough to remember what 'hard times' and 'poverty' truly means. So I have ventured out into unknown territory of business in hoping to some how assist my fellow countrymen expand their horizon and increase trade amongst Thailand and the import-export world.

Ever since I was young, I have always thought that one day I will do some good for the benefit of the less fortunate ones in Thailand and Southeast Asia. One step at a time and with the help and support from family and acquaintances, I will accomplish much of this. No intentions on trying to save the world, but I can at least do my part to make it a nicer place to live.

For many years I have traveled back and forth from United States and Thailand purchasing great arts and crafts from Thailand to bring back home as gifts. What intrigued me the most is that some of these artists are quite gifted but have not a clue of how to market their talent. So I finally found a way to help these artists; through the help of the internet and word-of-mouth we can help each other give hope to those in need of it; the poor, starving artists, and many physically incapable people around Thailand and Southeast Asia.

It is our believe that the import-export world is based on the recognition of trust between at least two individuals or companies. Importers who have actually done much traveling know how difficult it is to communicate and negotiate prices with merchants in Asia, let alone being able to establish a foundation of trust and understanding for a long term business relationship. Thus our name, "Asia Charisma"...
