Floret design is based in India in the city of Pune. Floret Design Primarily works in Industrial Design; From Styling to CAD/CAM services in Products, Equipments and Accessories. Floret Design has expertise in Automotive Design, Medical Equipment, Capital Equipments, and Consumer Products. Floret Design has an in house range and production of Lifestyle Products and Accessories. Floret Design also works with the Jewellery Industry in Manual Design, CAD/CAM and Prototyping. Floret Design Exports works in exports of lifestyle Products, Tabletop Accessories, and Corporate Gifts etc.
Floret design was established in February 2004, and has been providing services in design and development of products. Nikhil Badde a graduate from NIFT, in Accessory Design, established Floret Design for design services in Industrial Design, Jewellery and Lifestyle Products. Industrial Design has been the Major Focus. Nikhil B worked with companies like, Telco(Car Plant); AAL(Ashiyana AutoBodies Ltd.); Export Houses like, Marque Impex, M H Exports.
Nikhil B primarily worked with Industrial Design Firm, and later on intervened with design institute and has been working in the field of Design Education also. Floret Design believes that much can be achieved in network and team work. Design needs vision, articulation and detailing and a combination of better communication with realization, all brought about by thinking differently. Doing something simple is apparently the toughest’-Dhimant Panchal. Working Methodology - Design has to be problem solving, betterment in the existing form and function and seeing in the future, something that no one else has seen and articulated.
Every existing product has a future and changes to be made with research in market, production and development. Product is then stylized to take the next form and function. Detailing is a major aspect of design, only detailing can help reduce cost, bring efficiency in product working and develops smarter products. Models and prototypes are developed, before production. CAD model is generated and Production Drawings developed. Finally a developed product has all the aspects of user interaction and ergonomics also taken into consideration.
